Footsteps. That's all Amy seemed to hear anymore. Footsteps, walking away, leaving her alone; why she ended up on a deserted street, she didn't know. All she knew was that she was tired, tired of it all. Tired of having to deal with her parent's divorce, tired of dealing with her brother's drug addiction, tired of dealing with two-faced hypocrites. Tired of everything. Unfortunately, these particular footsteps that were being echoed through the alley seemed to be walking toward her and not away from her. She hated the haunting sound of footsteps.
